I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Mannheim. I am an applied economist, working at the intersection of economic history, development economics, and political economy. My research explores the social and political impact of institutions, their origins, technological transformations, and conflict.

I hold a PhD in Economics from Freie Universität Berlin and am a fellow of the Joachim Herz Foundation.
